About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Treasure Mills Inc. as an Industrial Plant Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial plant by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Programming and Installation: Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and install new machinery and equipment as required.
  • Equipment Experience: Work with a variety of equipment, including automated and robotic systems, conveyors, electrical and electronic controls, high-speed packaging equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, power tools, and power transmission systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires standing for extended periods, working under pressure, and attention to detail. You will be required to work overtime as needed.
