Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at RONA Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales development and customer management, focusing on national agreements within our current portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of the hardware and building materials industry, as well as experience with government tenders and sales development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new business opportunities through government tenders and RFPs
  • Analyze potential RFPs and make bids for those corresponding to our products and criteria
  • Plan the integration of new contracts into our internal system
  • Communicate with all departments involved
  • Prepare documents for deployment with customers
  • Develop strategies to increase sales of the customer portfolio
  • Work closely with the outside sales representative team and store teams to support sales growth
  • Provide sales reports upon request and based on the contractual schedule
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in sales and/or account management
  • Knowledge of the hardware and building materials industry an asset
  • Knowledge of government tenders an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Proactive, rapid learner, analytical ability, and business acumen
  • Mobility - some travel required to meet customers and visit stores
