Food Service Team Lead

The Wings on Flame Restaurant Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant. Your primary focus will be on supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing methods to meet work schedules and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hiring food service staff
- Maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Establishing work schedules
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will be required to maintain attention to detail. You will also be responsible for addressing customers' complaints or concerns and providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. You will be a team player with excellent communication and leadership skills, and you will be able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
