About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Aji Sai Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all dishes, flatware, and other items are clean and sanitized before use.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work surfaces.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items as required.
    • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Will train on the job.
