About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Aji Sai Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Help to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food and prepare simple food items for service.
  • Assist with removing kitchen garbage and trash.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
