We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 5039643 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Take customers' orders and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Reliability and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
