At Jim's Pizza & Pasta, we are seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including pizzas, pastas, and other menu items.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ordering as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding role, requiring standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and adaptability skills.
