About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to lead our Softgoods department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing daily operations, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a daily sales plan to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team by providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • Manage department inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of sales growth and leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Demonstrated passion for sports and fitness, with a strong understanding of the sporting goods industry.
