About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team at Aeolus Group. As a skilled trades recruitment specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring skilled trades professionals for maintenance positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and screen candidates for skilled trades positions, including Millwrights, Electricians, and Truck and Coach Mechanics.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, online job boards, and other recruitment strategies.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand the specific needs for each role and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Conduct reference checks and verify qualifications to ensure candidates meet client standards.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to negotiating offers and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment, particularly in skilled trades.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and company hiring policies and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, with a focus on skilled trades roles.
  • Strong understanding of the skilled trades industry and relevant qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sourcing skills, including proficiency with online job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or other recruitment software.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to earn commissions based on successful placements.
