We are a leading provider of authentic ethnic cuisine, and we are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team.

Job Summary

The Ethnic Food Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate, Food Safety Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
  • Specializations: South Indian cuisine and green economy sector.
