We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team at Discount Trucking & Construction Ltd. in a permanent role.

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a reputable company that values its employees and provides a safe working environment. As a Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for arranging travel, related itineraries, and making reservations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods;
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes;
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment;
  • Pay and receive payments for goods;
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs;
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle;
  • Perform preventive maintenance;
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption;
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo;
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods;

Requirements:

  • AZ class license;
  • Class 1/1F/A License (semi-trailer trucks);
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A);
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D);
