Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Discount Trucking & Construction Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience an asset
  • International transportation experience
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
