Job Title: Personal Support Worker

Spectrum Health Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team in Thornhill. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to our patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and skincare.
  • Assess and respond to the changing needs of patients, communicating with healthcare teams as needed.
  • Perform delegated tasks under the supervision of a Home Support Supervisor.
  • Travel within assigned regions to provide care to patients in their homes or facilities.
Requirements:
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Updated immunization record, including TB Test.
