Job Responsibilities
  • Support team members in their professional development and assist in planning resource allocation.
  • Closely monitor workloads and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and internal controls by all parties involved.
  • Review and approve payroll data prior to final submission.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to the production of management reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • LAP certification from the Institut National de la Paie (formerly GAP/PMP).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Analytical and synthesizing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
  • Good knowledge of federal and provincial regulations concerning payroll and tax returns.
  • Professional conscientiousness and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, advanced level with Excel.
