Cybersecurity Risk Expert Lead

As a Senior Cyber Security Advisor at National Bank, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your cybersecurity expertise and experience to drive business growth while minimizing risk.
About You- You have a bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and five years of relevant experience in information security.
- You possess experience in risk assessment with recognized tools and a working understanding of application architecture and related technologies.
- You are knowledgeable about one of the main cyber regulatory frameworks for financial institutions (PCI, OSFI, FFIEC, NYDFS, etc.) and one of the main regulatory frameworks surrounding the protection of personal information (Bill 25, PIPEDA, GDPR, GLBA, etc.).
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing the cybersecurity risk posture of one or more business units;
- Ensuring that risk considerations are addressed at each phase of a system's development and maintenance lifecycle;
- Proactively proposing solutions to reduce and anticipate cybersecurity risks;
- Recommending security measures in applications and infrastructure components by exercising judgment within existing policies and industry best practices;
- Producing, maintaining, and communicating indicators (progress, performance, risk, etc.).
