Job Title: Senior QS

We are seeking an experienced Senior QS to join our successful Infrastructure team supporting top clients in Toronto. As a Senior QS, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost assurance services to our clients, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze construction contractor financial and commercial systems, controls, and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform complex data analysis and provide insightful recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of our Cost Assurance team, mentoring junior staff and participating in business generation activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve client outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of post-graduate experience in quantity surveying or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, disallowed cost areas, and contract management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certifications, such as MRICS or PQS, are highly desirable.
