About the Role:

The University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead the Graduate Programs Admission team. As a key member of the Office of Recruitment, Admissions and Business Development, this role will play a critical part in shaping the student body by admitting, supporting, and retaining talented and diverse candidates.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in post-secondary admissions and enrollment management, with experience in managing admission operations, implementing efficient processes, and leveraging technology to drive admissions success. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships with staff, senior university administrators, and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage admission operations and implement efficient processes to drive admissions success
  • Leverage technology to enhance the recruitment, admissions, and awards process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic enrollment management initiatives
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Graduate Programs Admission team
  • Develop and maintain networks across the University of Toronto to build capacity and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on computer science or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in post-secondary admissions and enrollment management
  • Excellent technical skills, including experience with CRM systems and data analysis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
