Environmental Quality Manager

Webuild is a global construction company with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Quality Manager to join our team in Toronto, ON.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising all on-site activities for construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and overseeing the quality of work. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance, including emissions, waste management, and resource usage.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
- Train employees on environmental policies and procedures.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to address environmental concerns and maintain positive relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental management or a related field.
- Certified as a quality professional from a certifying body, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training Course.
