Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, documenting solutions and best practices for future reference.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, backups, and system checks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of technical issues and solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: 1+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in a computer-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE) or equivalent experience.
  • Other: Valid Class G driver's license, reliable transportation, and a police records check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Server Operating Systems: Experience with Microsoft server operating systems (2012R2 and higher), Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote desktop services.
  • Virtualization: Experience with virtualization deployments (Hyper-V, VMWare) and installation of data backup systems, AV platforms, and other related technologies.
  • Other: Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools (ConnectWise), SonicWALL Firewalls, Dell PowerEdge Servers, and other related technologies.
