Assistant Professor Position in Organizational Behaviour/Human Resource Management

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Organizational Behaviour/Human Resource Management (OB/HRM) at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University.
About the PositionThis is an entry-level position, and advanced Assistant Professor candidates will not be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, conduct research, and contribute to the academic community.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
- Conduct research in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, with a focus on publishing in top-tier journals and maintaining a highly productive research agenda.
- Develop and maintain a strong research program, including securing external funding and collaborating with colleagues.
- Contribute to the academic community through service, including committee work, mentoring students, and participating in departmental and university-wide initiatives.
- PhD (or completion of a PhD within one year of employment start date) with an emphasis in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated exceptional research potential, including a strong publication record and a clear research agenda.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate the relevance of their research to academic and business audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively teach courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
- Interest in mentoring MSc/PhD students and supporting their academic and professional development.
- Willingness and capacity to take on service responsibilities as may be required.
