Unit Manager

NAV CANADA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Air Traffic Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, service, and quality of ACC services delegated within your scope of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of Air Traffic Controllers and Team Supervisors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of air traffic services.
- Implement new technology, procedures, or programs to improve safety and service.
- Develop and manage budgetary plans and forecasts based on operational requirements and priorities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- 3 years of leadership experience managing a diverse team.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Canadian Air Navigation System and Air Traffic Management.
- Human Resources/Labour Relations skills are an asset.
- Ability to foster a climate conducive to an engaged workforce.
- Strong time management and judgement skills.
