- Provide immediate response to client requests to open locked doors.
- Disassemble locks to repair and replace parts.
- Install security lock systems, key control systems, window bars, deadlocks, and keyless entry locks.
- Repair, replace, or adjust damaged or defective components of an entrance or exit door.
- Design master key systems.
- Implement preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance plans for specialized locks and other related equipment.
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner while maintaining good client relations.
- Holds a valid Security Workers License under the Alberta Security Service and Investigators Act.
- Minimum of five years' locksmith experience is required.
- Minimum of five years' experience in facility operations considered an asset.
- Experience working on computerized control electro-pneumatic locks.
- Exceptional skills in communications, organizational, interpersonal, and time management.
- Proven experience in exercising good judgment under pressure.
- Ability to work independently or collaborate as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Provides own tools.
