Diagnostic Neurophysiology Technologist - EEG Clinic
Vancouver, BC
This position is part of the EEG Clinic at BC Children's Hospital, providing diagnostic services for patients with neurological disorders. As a Diagnostic Neurophysiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing EEG recordings, analyzing data, and interpreting results to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform EEG recordings for patients of all ages, from pre-term infants to young adults.
- Analyze EEG data to identify patterns and abnormalities.
- Interpret EEG results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved electrophysiology program and certification as a technologist.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in a pediatric or neurology department.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
