About the Role

Moundhi Farm Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our farm, including the supervision of farm workers and the implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure efficient and effective crop production.
  • Develop and implement farm safety and bio-security procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate financial and production records to inform decision-making and optimize farm performance.
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to ensure optimal crop yields.
  • Ensure quality control and production records are maintained to meet industry standards.
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Maintain work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
