As a Freight Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and adjusting routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using computer equipment and GPS.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Plan or adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions by utilizing advanced navigation systems and optimizing delivery schedules.
  • • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure optimal condition, including tire pressure, brake function, and overall vehicle maintenance.
  • • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to guarantee compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • • Troubleshoot and perform emergency roadside repairs to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • • Stay up-to-date with preventive maintenance schedules to prolong vehicle lifespan and reduce operational costs.
