Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MIRAB RETAIL MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules to ensure efficient store operations
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales workers, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient restocking
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure sales workers are meeting performance expectations

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail

Work Environment:

  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and customer service

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Support for Youths:

  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
