As a Personal Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing various personal care and homemaker/companion services to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
  • Provide companionship and respite services for family members and caregivers
  • Perform homemaking activities such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assist clients with medication administration and other medical needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a Provincial-approved Personal Support Worker, Certified Nurse Aide or Health Care Aide course, or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
