Nurse Educator

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, temporary Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in contributing to quality client care for CAMH clients by advancing professional practice within clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver education programs for point-of-care staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of high-performing interprofessional clinical teams by assessing and developing clinical and leadership skills of point-of-care staff.
- Collaborate with program leadership, unit managers, and advanced practice clinical lead(s) to implement education initiatives and support clinical staff in the implementation of education initiatives.
- Support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements.
- Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS (CPR) certificate.
- Five (5) years of experience within the mental health field.
- Specific experience with clients with severe mental health and addiction issues and/or forensic histories is considered an asset.
- BN/BScN degree and computer literacy are also required.
