- Key Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Supervisor at Tim Hortons 8173, you will oversee the daily operations of our cafeteria, ensuring seamless service to our customers. Your tasks will include:
- Establishing efficient work schedules to meet our service standards
- Supervising and coordinating staff activities to prepare and portion food
- Training team members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimating ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation
- Recruiting and hiring food service staff
- Ensuring high-quality food and service
- Preparing budgets and cost estimates
- Addressing customer complaints and concerns
- Preparing and submitting reports
- Work Environment
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 staff members and ensuring that our standards are met.
- You will work in a combination of sitting and standing positions
- You will be required to stand for extended periods and engage in physical activities such as bending, crouching, and walking
- You will need to maintain attention to detail and work effectively under pressure
- Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service
- Language: Fluency in English
- Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week
