Service Advisor

As a Service Advisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly and accurately to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure all repair orders and paperwork are completed accurately and efficiently, with all customer requests or points of concern documented.
- Process all paperwork as jobs are completed, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Review all repairs and changes with customers upon delivery of their vehicle, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Assist in scheduling customer vehicles for service work, allowing adequate time for repairs/maintenance and securing additional time as required.
- Monitor work-in-progress to ensure repairs are being performed properly and time schedules are being met, notifying customers of any delays or additional work needed.
- Use service files to suggest additional repairs or services, estimating costs and completion times as needed.
- Identify and give special attention to repeat repairs, assigning original technicians on all comeback jobs.
- Notify customers when backorder parts become available, determining warranty coverage and verifying repair dates, mileage, etc.
- Resolve all customer complaints for a win/win outcome, implementing/suggesting preventative measures to reduce the number of complaints.
- Perform walk-around inspections on all customer vehicles, noting damage such as scratches, dents, missing hubcaps, etc.
- Arrange for alternate transportation as needed and manage loaner vehicles, maintaining a clean and orderly reception area.
- Follow company safety policies and practices, reporting any accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
- Working knowledge of automotive equipment and techniques of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized equipment maintenance system.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization, communicating effectively with others and assimilating and understanding information.
- A valid British Columbia driver's license with a clean driving record.
