We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Fish Grader at FRUITS DE MER MADELEINE INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our seafood products.
Key Responsibilities- Take samples of products at various stages of processing to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Examine ingredients or finished products to guarantee their quality and safety.
- Conduct routine tests for product specifications to ensure they meet our quality requirements.
- Ensure that all hygiene and sanitation practices conform to our policies and regulations.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to odours, cold/refrigerated temperatures, and wet/damp conditions.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Standing for extended periods is a requirement of this position.
- Work Term: Seasonal
- Work Language: English or French
- Hours: 30 to 70 hours per week
