Executive Director, Homecare

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Homecare division in North York. As the Executive Director, Homecare, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of our homecare business, ensuring the effective functioning of the line of business and driving growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all homecare operational functions and performance, including managing staff, operational procedures, service quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Establish processes to monitor, assess, and respond to issues that affect performance and benefit capture.
  • Improve client health and safety by educating clients and their families on creating a safe home environment and ensuring proper health teaching.
  • Work with Recruitment, Training, and Human Resources to ensure adequate quality staffing to deliver services.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to identify and implement practice and performance optimisation opportunities.
Leadership and Growth:
  • Take a leadership role in the growth and overall financial performance of the LOB, including working with finance to effectively manage budgets and collaborating with Business Development to achieve sales targets.
  • Acquire new clients using multiple channels and effectively deliver, update, and adapt marketing collateral and presentations.
  • Achieve all sales goals and metrics consistently and actively spread brand awareness through lead-generation activities.
Quality and Efficiency:
  • Focus on quality and efficiency improvement activities, including productivity and quality metrics analysis, operations standardisation, and compliance recommendations.
  • Implement operations and budget planning to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in nursing or related health discipline.
  • Minimum of ten years of direct care delivery experience and recent health management experience, including budgeting, operating statement analysis, labour relations, and applicable legislation governing healthcare operations.
  • At least ten years of experience working in a services environment with a demonstrated track record of understanding the homecare marketplace, client needs, and stakeholder issues.
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months).
  • Direct experience in the use of various information technologies in support of client care and operations management.
  • Ability to communicate in French is preferred.
