Job Overview
The Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnoses, and treatments to children, adolescents, and adults with eating disorders and related mental health difficulties. The individual will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to clients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology with a focus on Clinical Psychology.
- Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
- Substantial training and experience in eating disorders treatment.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, as well as individual and group psychotherapy skills.
