We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic Specialist to join our team at Trimac Transportation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on our trucks and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with our vehicles, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and organize our tool inventory, ensuring that all necessary tools are available and in good working condition.
- Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Education and Experience: A minimum of two years of experience as a mechanic, with a strong background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Certifications and Licenses: Red Seal certification and CVIP certification are assets.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
