**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team at Taber Food Store. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, and sandwiches.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare and serve deli products, including meats, cheeses, and sandwiches
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including the display cases and storage areas
  • Restock and replenish deli products as needed
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a deli or food service environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
