Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli Clerk to join our team at Taber Food Store. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli products, including salads, meats, and sandwiches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve deli products, including salads, meats, and sandwiches
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Restock and maintain deli merchandise, including meats, cheeses, and condiments
  • Operate deli equipment, including slicers and grinders
  • Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including the display cases and countertops
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a deli or food service environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Knowledge of deli products and preparation methods
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and systems
