We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli Clerk to join our team at Taber Food Store. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli products, including salads, meats, and sandwiches.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve deli products, including salads, meats, and sandwiches
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Restock and maintain deli merchandise, including meats, cheeses, and condiments
- Operate deli equipment, including slicers and grinders
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including the display cases and countertops
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in a fast-paced food service environment
- Knowledge of deli products and preparation methods
- Ability to adapt to new technology and systems
