The private seniors' residence St-Augustin is seeking two individuals to fill part-time positions as Beneficiary Attendants (PAB) LAW 90 at night.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per year, in addition to an evening bonus of $1, mileage bonus paid, and responsibility bonus. Group insurance, floating days off, social leave, vacation, reduced price meals, human management approach, ongoing training, consistent schedule, career opportunity, welcome and integration program, and recognition program are also offered.

Job Description

Schedule:

  • A part-time position with 8/14 evenings Monday to Friday, with one weekend out of two.
  • A part-time position with 6/14 evenings, with every other weekend.
Schedule may vary based on the needs of the residence.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication according to safety principles and codes of ethics.
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around.
  • Report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a resident's action plan based on observations.
  • Proactively assist and support residents.
  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies.
  • In collaboration with different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity.
  • Answer call bells.
  • Respond to all emergency situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • PDSB training.
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED training certificates.
  • LAW 90 training.
