Job Summary:

As a Learning and Development Specialist at Arc'teryx, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering learning programs across our warehouse and distribution center. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs to support the growth and performance of individuals and teams.

About the Role:

As a member of the People and Culture department, you will work closely with the L&D Team to drive continuous learning and development of people and leadership practices. Your role will involve facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing engaging and interactive training materials, such as videos, infographics, and quizzes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving the development, facilitation, and evaluation of training programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and MicroPeaks microlearning workshops
• Facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training
• Designing and implementing engaging and interactive training materials, such as videos, infographics, and quizzes
• Administering the learning management system, maintaining training records, databases, and participant registrations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess training needs and create programs that align with business objectives
• Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs using feedback and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Education, Learning & Development, or adult education, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and e-learning platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
• Highly organized individual with excellent time management abilities
• Strong service mindset and collaboration skills
• Passion for learning and love for the outdoors and living an active lifestyle
