Job Description

At Archer Learning Ltd., we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children by designing and implementing high-quality childcare programs that support their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and educational activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead groups of children in various activities, such as storytelling, singing, and exploration of local attractions, while promoting creativity and self-expression through art, music, and drama.
  • Caregiving: Provide guidance and support to children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet habits, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's behavior and development, identifying potential issues and preparing comprehensive reports for parents and guardians.
  • Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is required.
  • Work Conditions: This role requires a physically demanding work environment, involving a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: We are looking for a reliable and team-oriented individual who can commit to a permanent position with 30-40 hours of work per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, based on industry standards and location considerations.
