Job Title: Expert Project Coordinator

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects from design to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Administration: Responsible for administering curtainwall projects of high-rise buildings from pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, turnover, and contract closeout
  • Shop Drawing and Submittal Process: Coordinate the shop drawing and submittal process by collaborating with architects, engineers, drafters, and factory to establish a solid project foundation, including attendance at various design meetings
  • Documentation: Obtain current structural drawings from the general contractor and interface drawings from other trades for site use
  • Scheduling: Establish schedules of values for projects, assisting with monthly requisitions, change orders, and other project accounting duties
  • Project Scheduling: Develop project schedules based on client requirements, factual durations, and lead times
  • Material Release: Coordinate material release for fabrication in alignment with the project schedule
  • Design Support: Provide project design managers with details and sketches for non-compliant conditions, including structural drawings and those from other trades interfacing with the curtain wall
  • Permits and Safety: Obtain construction permits, follow job safety & insurance program, ensure project is in accordance with the code and requirement
  • Project Oversight: Oversee and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or related fields. Master's degree is a plus
  • Industry Knowledge: General knowledge of the construction industry and its standard practices (preferred)
  • Curtainwall Industry: Knowledge of the curtainwall industry (a plus)
