At PointClickCare, we're seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our cloud-based healthcare technology platform.

About the Role:

  1. Collaborate with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based software solutions.
  2. Write clean, efficient code using Java and JavaScript, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  3. Work closely with our business stakeholders to iterate on software requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  4. Develop tools and applications using modern frameworks and technologies, such as Vue.js, React, and Angular.
  5. Automate tasks through scripting and utilize system and performance monitoring tools to ensure optimal system performance.
  6. Analyze and debug systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  7. Perform validation and verification testing to ensure our software meets the highest standards.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, ensuring our software remains cutting-edge.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Experience writing clean code that performs well at scale using Java and JavaScript.
  2. Strong knowledge of relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
  3. Solid experience writing RESTful API endpoints and working with UI development frameworks.
  4. Proficient in GIT and experience with automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium and Cypress.
  5. Excellent organization, critical-thinking, and personal leadership skills.
  6. Self-starter with the ability to deliver with minimal supervision.
  7. Being okay with the uncomfortable feeling that comes from learning new things.
  8. Team player with an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
  9. Proven experience as a great Engineer.
  10. BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree.

Bonus Points:

  1. Experience with React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio.
  2. Experience with Cypress, Selenium, Ansible, and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
  3. Linux and IP networking knowledge.
  4. Experience with AWS/Azure cloud services or equivalent.
  5. Experience with SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  6. Experience working on a SaaS product and Service Oriented Architecture.
  7. Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
  8. On-call experience with production-grade systems.
  9. Has mentored others in a professional setting.

What We Offer:

At PointClickCare, we offer a competitive salary range of $139,000-$150,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
