Job Title: Custodial Services Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Worker to join our Facilities Management team at the Michelin Tire plant in Bridgewater. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including shop floor cleaning, trash removal, storage room cleaning and organizing, and cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and conference rooms.
  • Ensure all areas are clean, clear of snow, and hazards.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism when interacting with team members, clients, and customers.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are needed.
  • Ensure all chemicals and cleaners are properly stored in accordance with WHMIS and HSE guidelines.
  • Participate in safety meetings and emergency response procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture by training new hires and participating in team activities.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of janitorial experience required.
  • Valid WHMIS Certification and/or First Aid Certification considered an asset.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, and twist without restriction.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift minimum 30lbs regularly; 50lbs on occasion.
  • Ability to work independently.
