Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Worker to join our Facilities Management team at the Michelin Tire plant in Bridgewater. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning restrooms, break rooms, and offices.
  • Keep entrance and all other areas clean, clear of snow, and hazards.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism when interacting with team members, clients, and customers.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals and cleaners in accordance with WHMIS and HSE guidelines.
  • Participate in safety meetings and emergency response procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by assisting with training new hires and participating in team activities.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of janitorial experience required.
  • Valid WHMIS Certification and/or First Aid Certification considered an asset.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, and twist without restriction.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift minimum 30lbs regularly; 50lbs on occasion.
  • Ability to work independently.
