Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Educational Assessment and Grading Practices to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a framework for moderation and standardization of grading, analyzing data to inform recommendations for improvement, and collaborating with the curriculum development team to standardize grading guides.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a framework for moderation and standardization of grading
- Analyze data to inform recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to standardize grading guides
- Manage updates and approvals of grading guidelines
- Provide expert advice to senior management on approaches to program outcomes and policy objectives evaluation
- 3+ years of experience in IB-Ontario education at the 9-12 level, department head or lead teacher preferred
- Extensive knowledge and experience in IB and Ontario curriculum, teaching and learning
- Strong understanding of inter-reliability/intra-reliability within grading practices and curriculum
- Proficient skills in large-scale learning data analysis, insight development, and reporting
