Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As an RPN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Accountability Objective:

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing the needs of individual residents and developing personalized care plans to promote maximum independence.
  • Providing direct resident care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and responding to emergency situations.
  • Supervising and guiding care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans that support resident independence and well-being.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
Background and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of grade 12 education and a recognized nursing license (RPN licensing) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED.
  • Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
