Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Care Team Assistant to join our Primary Health Care team. As a member of our collaborative health team, you will provide direct care and support to patients in a community health setting.
The successful candidate will have completion of the Continuing Care Assistant Program, provincial certification with the Department of Health and Wellness, and current Basic Life Support Certification. They will also demonstrate effective listening and communication skills, as well as competencies in areas such as infection prevention and control, mental health and wellness, and personal care.
We are looking for a patient-centered individual who can advocate for improving and optimizing patient experiences and outcomes. Competencies in other languages are considered an asset.

Hours- Permanent Full-time; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $25.70 and may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
