Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop, and maintain productive relationships with Canadian business partners to support business strategies and objectives.
  • Build and maintain an internal and external profile to identify new business opportunities and sustain revenue growth within a client portfolio.
  • Conduct detailed analysis, deal structuring, credit adjudication, and presentation of complex credit proposals for borrowing and non-borrowing clients.
  • Identify client business needs and deliver appropriate solutions using sophisticated techniques and tools.
  • Understand Bank lending policies and procedures, financial analysis, risk assessment techniques, collateral and security documentation, and related legislation.
  • Apply the Bank's operating policies and procedures, considering risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Genuine interest and passion for Commercial Banking.
  • Dedication to accuracy, customer-focused approach, and results-oriented mindset.
  • High level of financial literacy with understanding of financial statements, credit terms, conditions, and sales.
  • Natural curiosity and passion for analytics and problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating professional credit responses, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Professionalism, high energy, resilience, and strong desire to learn.
