About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our team at Roi. As a Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects to our customers with outstanding quality.

Roi is a global software and services company, serving over 3,000 customers in over 30 countries. With a strong presence in the industry, we deliver powerful software solutions to various sectors, including museums, cultural institutions, and archives.

About the Position

As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for working with customers to configure our products to meet their business needs. This will include data migration consultancy, general consultancy, installation, configuration, and testing. You will work closely with our Project Managers to schedule and forecast work, and to deliver upon agreed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to learn about a wide variety of software solutions, know the configuration requirements and limitations of each system
  • Relevant technical qualifications, including database management (SQL) or experience with any programming languages
  • Provide consultancy to customers on data migration, including mappings and specifications, plus scripting to convert data from one format to another
  • Plan accurately, to accurately scope and implement project deliverables to meet customer needs
  • Assist in Quality Assurance prior to delivery to customers
  • Work toward a set number of hours (budget) on each project and aim to be below this
  • Contribute to building and maintenance of strong customer relationships and satisfaction by provision of clear and frequent communication
  • Manage own workload in cooperation with team colleagues to ensure all project commitments are met and wherever possible exceed the quoted milestones

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be able to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
