Job Title: AVP, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs

ApplyBoard is seeking a seasoned communications professional to join our team as AVP, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic internal and external communications plans that drive business results and enhance our reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to senior business leaders and support the President in engagement strategy and thought leadership.
  • Contribute to shaping and driving the internal and external narrative for strategic priorities and protect and enhance ApplyBoard's reputation through proactive public relations campaigns and issues management.
  • Lead a high-performing team of Corporate Communications professionals and foster strong relationships with communications counterparts, business partners, and functional partners.
  • Drive communications best practices and processes for media relations and issues management within the direct team and broader department.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Corporate Communications with a proven balance of external and internal communications.
  • University degree in journalism or public relations, or a related field.
  • Direct media relations expertise and business acumen to understand ApplyBoard's ecosystem and track stakeholder perception.
  • Ability to deliver strategies and recommendations that enhance and protect the ApplyBoard brand.
