Executive Director Opportunity

CENTRE IN THE SQUARE (CITS) is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its next Executive Director.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction for all annual programming, rentals, and management of the Centre In The Square.

The ideal candidate will be a leader in the Kitchener community and throughout the region, with a strong desire to engage with the local community and with other performing arts centres and artists across Canada and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for annual programming, rentals, and management
  • Lead the Centre In The Square team to achieve organizational goals
  • Engage with the local community and other performing arts centres and artists
  • Manage Centre In The Square's operations and finances

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience in the performing arts industry
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
